BOWIE, Md., February 5, 2018 — Power Solutions, LLC, the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier electrical contractor for mission critical facilities, has hired Robert Poole as its new Safety director. Poole will be responsible for and oversee all aspects of safety for Power  Solutions’ myriad projects, and will supervise the company’s growing safety team.

Poole brings more than 25 years’ experience in the field of construction safety, including the leadership of safety programs for both electrical contractors and general contractors, as well as risk management positions with various large insurance companies. Poole holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from East Carolina University and is currently working toward a PhD in Public Health Administration at Walden University.

“There is no question that safety has to be the number one priority of any electrical contractor,” said Mike Lytle, Senior Vice President of Power Solutions. “The complexities of the projects we undertake at Power Solutions mandate that we have someone with Robert’s experience and expertise to continually improve our safety culture,” he said.
