BOWIE, MD, October 23, 2023 – Power Solutions, LLC, the top ranked electrical contractor in the Greater Washington Region for nine straight years, recently announced the opening of its a 93,800 square foot facility in Frederick, Maryland. The new location will be home to the company’s expanded prefabrication and warehouse operations as well as its fourth office in the region along with Ashburn, Virginia, Newport News, Virginia and its headquarters in Bowie, Maryland. It will support the electrical construction services rendered to all customers with a focus on the continued growth of the data center industry in Maryland and Virginia.
“We have invested in new facilities to meet the anticipated demands of the industry in the coming years,” said company President Kenny Johnson. “The prefabrication and warehouse capabilities of our new Frederick location will position us to more effectively serve our customers in the region.”
As Power Solutions continues to transform its business model to meet the evolving needs of its customers, the company also announced the following promotions:
Gary Cooke, Jr., Mike Vaverchak and Eric White have been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President. Each will take on a supervisory role for a different segment of the company. Mr. Cooke will focus on prefabrication services, building information modeling, warehouse operations as well as the tenant fitout division. Mr. Vaverchak will oversee the company’s data center construction and maintenance operations. And Mr. White leads the Power Solutions safety department as well as specialty services including life safety, testing and controls.
Colton Palmer and Steve Wilson have been promoted to the position of Vice President. In his newly expanded leadership role, Mr. Palmer will be able to apply the expertise he developed first as a foreman, and later as a project manager overseeing the work on some of the company’s most demanding data center projects. Mr. Wilson has played a key role the in the growth of Power Solutions’ testing and service divisions working with a wide range of customers from data centers and communication companies to utilities and government facilities.
Eric Boehm, Matt Castor and Mitch Fennell have been promoted to the position of Project Executive. Each has managed the successful completion of the company’s most sophisticated data center construction projects while demonstrating the ability to deliver work of the highest quality under aggressive schedules and challenging jobsite conditions. They have worked for and strengthened the company’s relationships with several of the world’s top general contractors.
Anthony Hall has been promoted to the position of Superintendent. During his ten years with Power Solutions, Mr. Hall has displayed an exceptional ability to supervise and coordinate jobsite manpower to maximize efficiency. He will be an asset to the company’s experienced team of superintendents.
