Lighting, displays and controls installed on rapid schedule, in unusual space
David A. Nice Builders brought Power Solutions in to install an electrical system in the unusual, wedge-shaped space leased by J. Crew at the new Clarksburg Premium Outlets in Maryland. A lack of parallel and square surfaces meant Power Solutions had to be creative in its approach. An eight week deadline meant we had to work fast.
Power Solutions’ eight-man crew used rotary lasers to run pathways for wiring and install lighting controls, a 25 kVa transformer and 60 amp sub-panel, outlets, circuitry and raceways.
The store’s open-ceiling, industrial look required that we prefabricate intricate strut supports for lighting and displays. We also incorporated low-voltage wiring for security and CCTV systems.
Eight weeks later, the store was powered and ready for business.
