Telecommunications installation at new facility
Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., turned to Power Solutions to install telecommunications systems at its newest outpatient facility.
The Power Solutions Telecommunication Division executed the infrastructure buildout of a newly constructed three-floor building that includes medical offices, a dental clinic, patient rooms, modular furniture and conference rooms.
The project involved installing more than 300 category 6 plenum data cables, phone, data and wireless access points throughout the suite.
Power Solutions also built out the Telecommunication IT Network Closet with all data racks, category 6 data patch panels, vertical and horizontal wire managers as well as all copper and fiber backbone cabling from the building’s D-marc location.
