Creative ceiling design requires skillful touch in lighting installation
As a major government contractor in the defense, homeland security and intelligence sectors, Leidos, an international information technology and engineering firm, maintains a strong presence in Washington, D.C.
Their latest office expansion involved the renovation of space in an existing office building, which included the creation of a distinctive compound-mitered ceiling for the lobby. Constructed with both drywall and a stretch fabric covering, the ceiling’s structure and shape presented challenges when Power Solutions came in to install lighting fixtures.
Using their skills and experience, the Power Solutions team was able to customize the light fixtures and complete the installation within the time frame allotted. In addition to the lobby lighting, Power Solutions also installed lighting and the Lutron lighting control system, along with receptacles, switches and AV systems throughout the 3,000-square foot space.
